On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I congratulate the people of Monaco as you celebrate your 154^th national day this November 19. Monaco and the United States have long enjoyed a friendship built on the deep connections between our people and our shared desire to leave a better world for future generations. This year we also celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the Oceanographic Museum and honor the constant leadership Monaco has shown in preserving and protecting our world’s oceans. I wish all Monegasque people a happy holiday, and I look forward to deepening our partnership in the year ahead.
