Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to Amman, Jordan, departing Washington, DC, on July 15. Secretary Kerry held meetings with Jordanian and Arab League officials. During these meetings, Secretary Kerry provided an update on Middle East peace, as he said he would when he met with the Arab League delegation in Washington in April. On July 18, Secretary Kerry visited the Za'atri Refugee Camp and met with Syrian refugees.

On July 19, Secretary Kerry went to Ramallah to hold meetings with Palestinian Authority officials on advancing Middle East peace.
