On behalf of the United States of America, I extend our best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on their National Day.

This year the United States and Bahrain further strengthened our historic partnership and friendship through our third Strategic Dialogue and the signing of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement. I look forward to deepening our security and economic ties as we work together to create a more peaceful, prosperous, and interconnected Middle East through security cooperation, trade, investment, transportation ties, and joint technological advancements.
