Singapore continues to be a close and valued friend to us in one of the most dynamic regions of the world. I am pleased to count Singapore as a partner with us on many of our top priorities, including negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which would build on the tremendous success of our bilateral free trade agreement. Through our cooperation, we are jointly promoting peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
