During my trip to Angola two years ago, I saw first-hand the extraordinary recovery and economic progress your country has made since the end of the civil war. Today, our two countries are building on that progress as strategic partners based on mutual respect and interest. We look forward to working with you even more as you strengthen democratic governance, improve the rule of law and promote more opportunities for all Angolans.
