Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to Anchorage, Alaska on August 30 to host the Conference on Global Leadership in the Arctic: Cooperation, Innovation, Engagement and Resilience (GLACIER).

During GLACIER, Secretary Kerry led and participated in sessions focused on changes in the Arctic and the global implications of those changes; climate resilience and adaptation planning; and strengthening coordination on Arctic issues.
