@MFA_China:  Pompeo said the US would discontinue participation in the MOU on the establishment of the US-China Governors Forum. He must remember that it was the US side that proposed in 2011 to hold Governors Forum with China and the MOU was jointly signed by the two sides.  So far, five rounds of the Forum have been held successfully, with active participation from local governments of the two sides, fruitful outcomes achieved, and immense and tangible benefits delivered to the two peoples.  Breaking down the bridges that connect the two peoples is pursuing Neo-McCarthyism.  (https://twitter.com/MFA_China/status/1321823473568657408?s=20 @ 10/29/20 1037 ET)
