An employee covered under 5 CFR 432.102(e) who has been reduced in grade or removed from the service on the basis of performance may appeal the decision to the Merit Systems Protection Board. The decision letter will inform the individual of his or her appeal or grievance rights and the appropriate procedures to be followed.
