On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, it is my great pleasure to wish the Cambodian people a happy and prosperous Khmer New Year. 

I had the honor of visiting Cambodia in January of this year and saw firsthand the impressive economic and social progress that the country has made.  Cambodia has always held a special place in my heart and to be able to visit again was one of the highlights of my year.  I look forward to continuing to build the partnership between our two countries.

I wish Cambodia all the very best in the new year.
