About this Pilot 

This pilot has been created considerate of all Bureaus, Departments and International offices for the U.S. Department of State. This pilot is capable of ingesting data (both structured (oracle,ibm,sql,json,xml,xls,rss) and unstructured (pdf,word,ppt,xls,images, videos), in which to provide the user a 'Longitudinal' View of everything based on the regions and/or topics they are dealing with. The output of that filtered search may result in a composite Portal page, or a document (output) based on those filters to assist the user for their upcoming meeting with the 'Latest Information from all resources). The Glossary module serves each of these modules, providing helpful mouseover definitions, for any term (or acryonym) mentioned within any record.

The content ingested into this portal is being filtered by rules (Region, Subject and other Codes) to automatically classify anything it stores. It also has built in rules for CONFIDENTIAL, NOFORN, ORCAN, etc. to automatically assign and override the security roles of any record which contains the State Department's codes which determine it's classification! You can see all of these automated metadata and security rules here. 

This chart below shows the Data (Migration) Map between the State department sources, into Oxcyon Modules. You will see the Oxcyon module names (and the State Department Module (Alias) names). This is done for the sanity of those managing these data paths, migrations and rules.

You will find below the Data Migration routines currently set up (as placeholders). These are functional, but Oxcyon needs to determine the actual source of State Deparment data desired. These data sources can include XLS, RSS, JSON, File Uploads, Screenshots (to be spidered and screen captured) or raw data ingested (Oracle, SQL, CSV, etc.)
